This Oil Portrait of Dr. Roger Sperry, Nobel Laureate scientist at California Institute of Technology, was one of the first major portraits the artist executed. The challenge of creating a non-obtrusive background with a 5 1/2 foot fossil, (found by the scientist) was a stretching experience at best. |
